Alexander Rose Outdoor Furniture Ranges

The company Alexander Rose was formed in 1994, as a UK selling company for hardwood garden furniture made in Ghana. In 2010 the Roda Group of Bolivia took over as the main investors in the Alexander Rose company. The Roda Group have sustainable FSC forests in South America, where 95% of the timber used by Alexander Rose originates from.

The Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international network that promotes the responsible management of the world’s forests. The aim is to manage forests in a way that is environmentally beneficial and socially responsible. Alexander Rose is a very environmentally and socially aware company. They pledge to use timber from well managed forests, monitor their carbon footprint and use recycled materials for packaging where possible. Alexander Rose also aims to maintain the highest working conditions and safety standards for their workforce.

Avant Range

Avant is a contemporary range of garden furniture. The range is finished to a high standard with a sleek look of modern luxury. The furniture is made with polished stainless steel in combination with teak, granite or glass. Some of the chairs incorporate textilene mesh, which is available in a range of colours. Contract

The Contract collection includes pieces from eight other Alexander Rose ranges. The contract collection is both practical and stylish, and includes items for all budgets. The furniture in this collection is made from a variety of materials including polypropylene, aluminium, steel and plastic coated mesh. These materials are all maintenance free and long lasting, ensuring that you get value for your money. Alexander Rose Karri

Karri is a wood that is similar to mahogany in colour. The Karri tree grows straight with a large portion of the trunk free from branches, resulting in a straight and knot free wood that is perfect for furniture making. The pieces of garden furniture available in Karri include several kinds of chairs, swing seats, companion sets, benches, sun beds, tables and a child’s set. The Karri wood used is from South Africa, and is FSC certified.

Mahogany

Mahogany has a reddish-brown tone, which if left to age naturally will change to a beautiful silver grey colour. If treated, the mahogany will deepen to a warm dark red colour. Alexander Rose Monto Carlo

As the name of this collection suggests, the furniture has an elegant Mediterranean style. Alexander Rose Monte Carlo garden furniture is made from weave crafted onto a lightweight aluminium frame. There are two colours available: a classical brown or a modern and bold black. Ocean
